Discover the ski area

"Les portes du Mont-Blanc" : this large domain which extends over La Giettaz, Combloux, Jaillet, Megève provides 445 km of slopes covered with snow all winter long....

  1. Fat-Bike
downhill skiing is a sensational pastime for the most experienced. Downhill for miles from the summit of The Torra which peaks at an altitude of 1930 metres. No sound around since this discipline only starts when the ski slopes and other sliding sports close : you’ll only hear the air produced by your speed. (A Fat-Bike is an ATV where the rims and tires have been developed to maximize grip on snow).
  2. Snowshoeing at night with food and drinks when arriving at the refuge
Visiting a mountain hut at night is a unique experience : you’ll live and feel there "the past of the place", be in complete communion with this preserved nature all around you and as if struck by its beneficial energy. At this moment, you’ll be no more showing off... Exchange and conviviality are true and you’ll really enjoy the pleasure of rediscovering the taste of simple things. This is a pure moment : "Mother Nature" and its powerful strength will overwhelm you and you may be touched and very surprised by its incredible impact !
  3. Sled dog activity : our favorite one !
A great adventure where you’ll find yourself in total communion with nature, admire the magnificent landscapes and share a very special moment with beautiful huskies trained to perfection.

Not to mention... * The discovery by plane or helicopter of The Mont-Blanc and its surroundings... And for night owls -> dance floors (15 minutes away) in La Clusaz, Praz sur Arly and of course in Megève... but at The Armanaz Chalet too, you’ll enjoy private casino evenings or dancing ones with our DJ (to plan ahead at the time of booking).

We’ll always be available to help you find the activities that’ll suit you.
